    #1 Best Tasting Vegetable Protein

Health enthusiasts have begun a migration away from their long term commitment to whey protein to a vegetarian protein for its many health benefits. Although proven effective, whey and other dairy proteins have proven to be problematic for many individuals, causing food allergies, sensitivities and intolerances. All of these conditions lead to excessive inflammation which is extremely detrimental to anyone, especially athletes and bodybuilders looking for optimal performance.

Clinical studies and other scientific works have shown that the same benefits of using whey protein can be achieved using low-allergenic, nutrient-dense plant protein sources that are strategically combined. One randomized double-blind, placebo controlled trial(1) compared whey and pea protein’s ability to improve muscle thickness compared to a placebo. The results of the study showed that both proteins had a significant effect on improving muscle thickness compared to placebo and no significant differences were detected between whey and pea protein’s ability to deliver these results. The results of this study demonstrate that pea protein is just as effective as whey protein when it comes to improving muscle thickness.

    Strategic Blend of Vegetable Protein

Peak Protein is a strategic blend of pea, pumpkin seed and chia protein to ensure a comprehensive blend of amino acids. Nitrogen amino acid analysis has shown plant proteins contain almost identical concentrations of key amino acids such as branch chained amino acids (BCAAS) and even outperform whey protein in other important amino acids that are conditionally essential for athletes and bodybuilders when strategically combined. These include arginine, important for delivering nutrients and oxygen rich blood throughout the body and glutamic acid (glutamine) that is essential for promoting muscle recovery and a healthy intestinal lining.

    Best Tasting Vegetable Protein

Peak Protein provides 20g of protein per serving and 4g of fiber including whole food sources such as apple and broccoli powder. The formula also contains sunflower lecithin to provide a healthful source of essential fatty acids and phospholipids that are present in every cell of our bodies working to protect our cell membranes. However the signature characteristic of Peak Protein is its creamy texture and phenomenal taste. The methods of processing the protein enables Peak Protein to have a smooth-creamy texture whether mixed using a blender, shaker cup or even when stirred with a spoon while stevia plant extract provides a pleasant sweet flavor with no aftertaste and no additional calories.

Peak Protein Is Designed For Those Interested In:

    • Building Lean Muscle Tissue
    • Losing Weight
    • Controlling Hunger
    • Increasing Energy Levels Without the Use of Caffeine
    • Hypoallergenic, Vegetarian/Vegan Protein Source

    Protein Balance

Pea protein contains a high concentration of branch chain amino acids (BCAAs). BCAAs are needed for recovery after hard workouts and they have been shown to help improve body composition and aid in weight loss.(2) Pea protein has also been shown to be a potent stimulator of weight management hormones including CCK and GLP-1(3), which can help to reduce appetite and increase satiety. Appetite reduction can lead to weight loss if a calorie deficiency occurs.

    Lean Muscle Tissue Advantage

Peak protein contains 20 g of protein per serving, the exact amount of protein that research has shown to maximize muscle protein synthesis in both rested and exercised muscle without causing metabolic stress.(4) The study demonstrated that intakes below 20 g of protein did not maximize protein synthesis and intakes above 20 g caused amino acid oxidation and urea production, which is how the body removes excess protein consumed from the diet. Another study similarly found that 20 g of protein maximized muscle protein synthesis and albumin protein synthesis after resistance exercise.(5)

    Fiber Effects

Peak Protein contains a unique fiber blend that provides a total of 4 g of fiber per serving featuring whole food fiber sources including apple and broccoli powder. As a result of the diversity of fiber sources, more health benefits are achieved while minimizing the gastrointestinal discomfort that is associated with other fiber containing supplements. Several research trials have shown increased weight loss for those individuals using a supplement containing fiber from a variety of sources and a low-calorie diet.(6,7,8,9).

    Suggested Use

    Suggested Use:

Mix 1 scoop in 8-10 oz of water or your favorite beverage such as almond milk in a shaker cup or blender or as directed by your healthcare professional. You can take more than 1 serving daily depending on your health goals.

Note: Using almond milk or coconut milk will lead to a creamier shake. If the consistency is too thick for your liking, continue adding fluid in small amounts and mix/blend until the consistency you desire is reached. It is best to drink the shake immediately, as contents may settle if mixed/blended and then left sitting for an extended period of time.

    Caution:

As with any dietary supplement, consult your healthcare practitioner before using this product, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, anticipate surgery, take any medication or are otherwise under medical supervision.
