Title: “Broccoli sprout beverage affects urinary levels of aflatoxin and benzene metabolites in China.”
Design: Randomized, placebo-controlled trial in 291 adults exposed to high environmental pollutants.
Findings: The glucoraphanin + myrosinase beverage increased urinary excretion of:

• Benzene (as S-phenylmercapturic acid) by 61%

• Acrolein (as 3-HPMA) by **23%
